I started the Optimal 101 Series about two years ago because I wanted to go a bit further in depth on certain topics that I don’t have time to cover in detail in the Womb Wisdom Self Care. It also gives people a chance to have an introduction to what I do and what I think on certain topics, since my opinions are usually different from the status quo.
I offer the whole series live twice a year, usually on Wednesday mornings Thailand time from 8–10 a.m. Each class is around 1.5 to 2 hours long, depending on questions and how much we get talking. I record the classes so they are available to download at any time. If you come to the live session, you can get the recording, and if you buy the recording, you are welcome to come to the next live class. I do upgrade them each time, so you are always welcome back. The classes are casual; I do a presentation and welcome all questions.
At the moment, these are the topics I have covered: how cold damages your health, painful periods, fibroids, endometriosis, prolapse, the Pill, breast health, scars, postpartum care, an introduction to Traditional East Asian Modalities, the magic of moxa, honoring and supporting miscarriage, and castor oil and yoni steaming. I will do menopause and a few others soon!

Most of what I do these days is about education, which can be online or in person, but I also offer treatment sessions in person if you would like to come visit me in Thailand. My work is based on Maya Abdominal Therapy & Chinese medicine as I am also an acupuncturist. I find these two modalities really fill in a lot of the gaps as far as Western medicine approach to health. But I also do massage, acupuncture, cupping, gua-sha, moxa, etc. it really depends what I feel is appropriate for you.
Ideally, everyone would start with the Womb Wisdom Self Care Workshop because we really do not learn much about our bodies, our menstrual cycle, our anatomy, etc. It helps to start there if possible, so you can get an understanding of where I am coming from. I have also designed the Optimal 101 Series to discuss different topics in detail. At this point, I have about 13 workshops covering a range of topics like: painful periods, fibroids, endometriosis, prolapse, post-partum care, breast health, honoring & supporting miscarriage, the magic of moxa, etc. I touch on all of these in the Womb Wisdom Self Care but wanted to go into each a bit deeper and offer resources for further exploration. If you really want some hands-on work and to spend some time with me, I recommend coming to Koh Yao Noi for a personalized retreat.
This work is for everyone! While a lot of my focus is on women, I also work on men and children. It depends on your particular health concern or what you would like to learn. But we can all benefit from these wise women’s ways that have mostly been forgotten.
Yes, most of my work is virtual now. As much as I was resistant to it in the beginning, I now see that it works well. Particularly, because my passion is teaching you to take your health into your own hands. Learning online from the get go, you are taking self-responsibility to do the abdominal massage, castor oil packs, yoni-steaming or whatever will be helpful for your specific concern. It really is time we stop out-sourcing our health and recognize that the body is designed to self-heal, self-repair and self-regulate. We talk about this a lot in the Womb Wisdom Self Care Workshop.
It depends. Like I said about most of my work in virtual these days. I actually never treated like most practitioner as I was always travelling and teaching. For me it is important to give you the tools to help yourself. Having said that, there are times when a treatment is necessary. I would need further information to assess how many treatments.
Yes, you can. I really find Maya Abdominal Therapy, Chinese Medicine and Yoga to be a great combination and that was the impetus for me and a friend founding Optimal Reproductive Health. I think they make a well-rounded approach that provides, education, treatment and self care tools. Of course, other therapies could be considered too as well as Western medicine.
Yes, I treat men. Most men find me because they have digestive issues, scars, or chronic pelvic pain. All of us need this work! What we are missing these days is preventative uterine (and prostate) wellness. What we have is disease detection. If the couple is wanting to conceive than to me it is essential that the partner comes too.
Yes, please contact me personally to discuss your situation and we can discuss a payment plan or other options.
