These terms cover the use of lisalevine.org, the website of Lisa Levine, trading as The Wise Womb, based in Thailand. By using this website you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.
What this website is
This website describes my work: online workshops, one-to-one treatments in Thailand, retreats, and mentoring for practitioners. It is a place to learn what I offer and to get in touch.
Nothing is sold here. There is no shopping cart and no payment is ever taken on this website. Workshops are booked through Red Tent Wellness, and retreats through the retreat centre. When you follow one of those links you are entering into an agreement with that organisation, on their terms, and any payment, cancellation or refund is a matter between you and them.
Health: please read this part
This is the part that matters most, so it is written plainly.
Traditional Chinese Medicine, Maya Abdominal Therapy, massage, yoga and the self-care practices taught here are traditional and complementary approaches. They support health. They do not replace diagnosis, treatment or advice from a qualified medical professional, and nothing on this website should be treated as medical advice.
Everything on this website, and everything taught in a workshop, is general education. It is not tailored to you, your body or your medical history, because I do not know them. Reading it does not make you my client and creates no practitioner-client relationship between us.
If you have a medical condition, are pregnant or trying to conceive, are recovering from surgery or childbirth, are experiencing bleeding, pain or any symptom that worries you, speak to your doctor or midwife before using any technique described here. Some practices, including abdominal massage, are not appropriate during pregnancy, during menstruation, with an IUD in place, or with certain conditions. If you are unsure whether something applies to you, ask me before you begin, and ask your doctor as well.
If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency service. Do not wait for a reply from me.
Self-care practices are exactly that: things you choose to do to your own body, at your own risk and at your own pace. Stop if something hurts.
No outcome is promised. Bodies differ, and what helped one person may do nothing for another.

Workshops and sessions
Dates, times and prices shown here are correct at the time of writing and may change. The booking page always has the final word.
Workshops are held live in a small group. What is shared in that room stays in that room, and I ask the same of every participant. Sessions are usually not recorded; if a recording is ever made, everyone present is told first and asked to agree.
Using this website
The text, photographs, logo and design here belong to me or are used with permission. You are welcome to read, print and share links. You may not copy the content, reuse the photographs, or present the teaching material as your own without asking. Practitioners who have trained with me have their own agreement covering what they may use.
Please do not use the enquiry form for anything other than a genuine enquiry.

Availability
I try to keep this website accurate and available, but I cannot promise it will always be online or free of errors. It is offered as it is.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of Thailand. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this does not take away the protections you have under your own country’s law.

These terms may be updated. The date at the top shows when that last happened.
