Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 August 2026

This policy explains what happens to your information when you use lisalevine.org. It is written to be read, not to be waded through. If anything here is unclear, write to me and I will explain it plainly.

Who is responsible

This website belongs to Lisa Levine, trading as The Wise Womb, based in Thailand. I decide what happens to any information collected here, which in legal terms makes me the data controller.

You can reach me at optimalreproductivehealth@gmail.com about anything in this policy, including a request to see or delete your information.

What this website collects

When you fill in the enquiry form

The form asks for your name, your email address, and optionally a message. That is all it asks for, and all it keeps. It records which part of the site you sent it from and the date and time, so I know what you were looking at.

What happens to it: the details are stored in this website’s own database, and a copy is sent to my email inbox so that I see it. I use them for one thing only, which is to reply to you.

The legal basis is your consent, given by choosing to send the form. You can withdraw it at any time by asking me to delete your details.

How long I keep it: as long as we are in contact, and for up to two years after our last exchange, in case you come back. After that it is deleted. You can ask me to delete it sooner and I will.

Please do not use the form to send health details, a diagnosis or anything else you would consider sensitive. Tell me you would like to talk and we will find a more private way.

When you simply visit

This website counts visits using Koko Analytics, which runs on this website’s own server. It records the page visited, the website that referred you if there was one, and whether you were on a phone or a computer. It does not use cookies, does not store your IP address, and does not follow you across other websites. The result is a count, not a profile, and it cannot be traced back to you.

Because nothing is tracked in a way that identifies you, this site has no cookie banner. There is nothing to consent to.

The legal basis is my legitimate interest in knowing roughly how many people visit and which pages are useful.

What this website does not do

Where your information is held

This website runs on servers in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, operated by DigitalOcean through Cloudways. Enquiry emails are delivered to my inbox with Google. Both are bound by their own data protection obligations.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, your information may be handled in Thailand, where I am based. That transfer happens because it is necessary to answer the enquiry you chose to send.

Who else is involved

Only the companies that make the website work: the host, the email provider, and the developer who maintains the site, Circular Media. None of them use your information for their own purposes.

Booking a workshop or a retreat happens on someone else’s website, such as Red Tent Wellness or Thailand Yoga Retreats. Once you follow one of those links you are on their website, under their privacy policy, not this one. It is worth reading theirs.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask me to:

Write to optimalreproductivehealth@gmail.com and I will deal with it within 30 days. There is no charge.

If you are in the EEA or the UK and you think I have handled your information badly, you may complain to your national data protection authority. I would rather you came to me first so I can put it right.

Children

This website is not intended for children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect their information. Teenagers who attend workshops do so with a parent or guardian, who is the one who contacts me.

Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection, and access to the information behind it is limited to me and my developer. No website can promise perfect security, but nothing sensitive is stored here in the first place, which is the best protection there is.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Nothing changes retroactively for information already collected.
